Custom Self Adhesive Wallpaper Printed to Your Exact Wall
Custom self adhesive wallpaper is a printed wall panel that carries its own glue. You give us the width and height of your wall. We print to those exact numbers. No spare width arrives, so nothing has to be cut away and thrown out.
Custom self adhesive wallpaper is a wall covering with adhesive already applied to the backing. Giffywalls prints each design to the exact height and width of the wall it will cover. It installs without paste or water and lifts off later without stripping paint.
How Is Custom Self Adhesive Wallpaper Different From Standard Peel and Stick?
The difference is size. Standard peel and stick comes in fixed widths, so you buy extra and trim the rest away. Custom self adhesive wallpaper prints to the wall you measured. One wall, one print, no leftovers.
A fixed width also forces you to plan around seams you did not choose. With a custom print, the panels are cut for your wall, so the seams fall where you want them. Tall walls and short walls get the same clean finish.
The glue works the same way in both. You peel a film off the back and press the sheet onto the wall. Nothing needs mixing, soaking or drying. The saving is in the waste, the planning and the fit.
Every design on this page can be ordered at any size. Pick a pattern, enter your numbers, and the print is made after you order. Compare finishes across the peel and stick range before you decide.
How Do You Measure a Wall Before Ordering?
Measure the widest point and the tallest point of the wall. Use a tape measure rather than a phone app. Write both numbers down in inches or centimeters, then round up to the nearest whole unit.
Measure in three places across the wall if the floor is uneven. Old homes settle, and a wall can be an inch taller on one side. Send the largest figure you get. The print is trimmed at the ceiling and the baseboard during install, so extra height is easy to lose.
Skirting, coving and door frames do not need to be taken off the total. Print over the full rectangle and cut around the openings on the wall. Our measuring guide shows where to hold the tape for each wall shape.
Sockets and switch plates come off before you hang. They go back on over the print once the sheet is smooth.
How Long Does Peel and Stick Wallpaper Last?
Expect five to ten years on a clean, dry wall that was prepped well. Bedrooms, hallways and home offices sit at the top of that range. Steamy bathrooms and busy kitchens sit at the bottom.
Edges give out before the middle does. A corner that lifts usually points to dust under the glue. Paint that was too fresh on hanging day does the same. The decline is slow, so a wall gives plenty of warning before a refresh is due.
Wipe the surface monthly with a damp cloth, wrung out well. Skip scouring pads and strong sprays, which dull the print over time. Handprints and scuffs come away with plain water.
Light is the other factor. A wall in hard afternoon sun fades sooner than a shaded one.
Wall Surfaces That Hold a Sticky Back Print Best
Smooth painted drywall gives the strongest hold. Plaster, lining paper and primed board all work well. Living areas, bedrooms, hallways and home offices are the easy wins.
Three surfaces cause almost every failure. Heavy texture such as orange peel or knockdown is the first. Paint under three weeks old is the second. Shower walls that take direct spray are the third.
A lining coat fixes a textured wall. Time fixes fresh paint. For a shower wall, keep the print clear of the spray zone and the problem goes away.
Kitchens are fine when the sheet sits away from the backsplash and the stove. Renters do well here too, since the sheet lifts off in one piece on moving day. Our removable prints for rentals suit short leases and dorm walls.
How Do You Install It Without Bubbles?
- Wash the wall with mild detergent and let it dry fully.
- Mark a plumb line down from the ceiling as your first edge.
- Peel the top few inches of film and line the panel up.
- Press from the top, smoothing outward with a squeegee.
- Peel the rest of the film as you work down.
- Trim at the ceiling and the baseboard with a fresh blade.
Push any bubble toward the nearest edge with the squeegee. If it will not move, lift the sheet back and press it down again. The glue allows that several times before it grabs for good.
Work in daylight if you can. Raking light shows bubbles that a lamp hides. A helper makes the first panel easier, and the rest is a one person job. Our full install steps go deeper on corners and outlets.
Custom Wall Murals Printed as One Continuous Scene
A wall mural prints as a single image rather than a repeating pattern. One scene fills the whole surface, so the eye reads the wall as a picture. Headboards, stairwells and dining room end walls suit this best.
Every wall mural here prints to the width and height you enter. The image is scaled to your space before printing, so faces, horizons and focal points land where you want them. Nothing important gets cut off at a corner.
The sheet arrives in numbered panels that line up edge to edge. Hang them in order and the seam sits inside the pattern, where the eye passes over it.
Murals use the same sticky backing as the rest of this collection. The install is the same, and so is the removal.
Upload Your Own Image
Any photo, artwork or brand graphic can be printed at wall scale. Send a high resolution file and we scale it to the numbers you enter. You can upload your own image and we will check the file before it goes to print.
Repeat patterns work this way too. A tile, a logo or a small motif can be stepped across a whole wall at the size you pick.
Giffywalls runs a print service for custom sized wall murals in homes, rentals and commercial spaces, with free and fast shipping on every order. Orders leave within one to two days, so a bare wall can be finished inside a week.

FAQs
Which materials is best for wallpaper?
Wallpapers are made from standard paper, canvas paper, premium paper, peel and stick materials for durability and style.
How Do I Measure My Wall for a Wall Mural?
Measure the wall's width and height, adding 2–4 inches for trimming. Check for obstacles like windows or doors and note their dimensions. Double-check measurements before ordering!
How Do I Order Custom Size Wallpaper or Wall Mural?
Pick a design, enter wall dimensions, choose material, and place your order. Contact support for help!
Do I need to order extra to allow for trimming?
No. Each order is printed to the wall size you enter, so there is no surplus width to cut off. Enter the widest and tallest points of the wall and round up to the next whole unit. Custom self adhesive wallpaper is made after the order is placed, not pulled from stock.
What if my wall is not perfectly square?
Send the largest width and the largest height you measure. Older walls settle, so the two sides often differ by an inch or so. The print is trimmed at the ceiling and the baseboard during install, which absorbs the difference. A little extra height is easy to lose and impossible to add.
Will it come off without damaging paint?
Yes, when it is removed correctly. Start at a top corner and pull the sheet slowly at a low angle. It lifts away in one piece, leaves no residue, and the wall needs no repainting. Walls painted less than three weeks before hanging are the one exception.
Can it go in a bathroom or kitchen?
Yes, as long as water does not hit the wall directly. Steam from a shower causes no trouble and an occasional splash wipes away. Keep the sheet clear of the spray zone, the sink and the cooking surface. Everywhere else in those rooms is fine.
Can I reposition it while I am hanging it?
Yes. The sheet lifts and repositions several times during install, so you can fix a crooked panel before it sets. Press it down for good only when the alignment looks right. That flexibility matters most on the first panel, which sets the line for every one after it.
Will it stick to a textured wall?
Not reliably. Heavy texture such as orange peel or knockdown leaves too little flat surface for the glue to grip. A coat of lining paper or a skim of filler creates a smooth face, and the sheet then holds normally. Light texture is usually fine.
Can I print my own photo at wall size?
Yes. Upload a high resolution file and it is scaled to the height and width you enter before printing. Photos, artwork, logos and repeat patterns all work. The file is checked for resolution at your ordered size before anything goes to print.
